Some will spontaneously shatter. buy at your own riskJacob H.there seems to be a bit of a quality issue with this product. you'll see that lots of reviewers are happy with their purchase, and several reviewers like myself have all experienced the same issue with these glasses suddenly shattering on their own. my guess is that this is due to poor manufacturing controls related to annealing the glass after heating, resulting in internal stresses that make some of these glasses ticking time bombs. unfortunately, as you might also read from several of the same reviewers who've experienced this, customer service has absolutely no idea how to address this beyond sorry, defects must be found and reported within the first few days of purchase. lesson learned. buy glass products at your own risk.1
