Hopefully you saw my last post about building an IKEA SEKTION base cabinet. Here’s the second video in the series about building and installing drawers into the base cabinet. My videos about assembling an upper cabinet and door are coming in a few weeks.
If you’re installing base cabinets in your kitchen, you’re going to want drawers in them. The only reason to do shelves is that they are cheaper. But the efficiency and convenience of having drawers makes them well worth the extra cost, in my opinion. It is so nice in my new kitchen that I don’t have to get down on my hands and knees anymore searching for one thing I know is in that cabinet, somewhere back there. I just open the drawer and see everything in it. No bending or reaching.
