Worst product I've had from .Verified ReviewerThis was horrible to put together, it absorbs whatever finish you put on it and becomes bumby no matter how many times you sand and refinish and if you use the legs it becomes top heavy and falls over so NEEDS to be secured to the wall. Didn't find this out until AFTER I'd nailed the back onto the unit so I then had to make a hole in the back of the unit to allow the wallbracket to be fixed to the unit. Would not recommend this unit!2

Poor quality, poor customer serviceVerified ReviewerThe holes for the wooden pegs were not in the correct position making assembly impossible. A stressful hour and a half was spent on live chat which went nowhere. Eventually through email I was offered 15% damage discount which I refused as I didn't feel that reflected the poor quality, time and petrol to drive to the store to buy the item, and cost and time of applying wood sealer etc. I was then told because I had applied sealant the 'damage discount warranty' was void!! What a joke. How can sell unfinished wood items and not expect the customer to seal or paint before assembling. Really poor quality for the price. Also issue with folding table bought at the same time.1

I’m crushed. I put so much work into it and it just looks sloppy and poorly made.1

Only gripe is gap between doors so one can see the shelving. Plus it is almost impossible to have get to doors perfectly straight. Always a little wonky but nothing one will notice in the end. All in all, great solid wood product for a food price.4
Solid wood Ivar range for me. Unchanged for 10 yrsVerified ReviewerI first bought one of these 10 years ago, and the dimensions are still EXACTLY the same, which is super helpful. I wanted to swap the doors around, putting the new doors on the old cabinet, and it worked perfectly. The only difference between then & now is the density of the wood used. Today's purchase was a less dense wood, whereas a decade ago the wood used was of a tighter grain. This didn't really affect the intended use, so it was not a real problem. I always go for solid wood construction if I can, so I love the Ivar range. Wood is resilient, repairable, stronger for a given weight, as well as smelling SO good. No regrets with this purchase.5
Are the doors the right size?Verified ReviewerThe cabinet is perfect except for the Doors. Despite multiple efforts; adjusting the hinges/screws etc, there is a 1 cm gap left in the middle which is extremely frustrating as you can see inside the st**id thing. The cabinet is 80cm wide but the 2 individual doors are only 39.5cm wide, meaning there is a discrepancy of 1cm. In understand the doors cannot be 40cm each, but at least cut/make the doors to make the GAP less visible. (39.8cm) would've been perfect.2
