Beautiful tapLisaI absolutely love this tap for our kitchen however there is an issue with water continuing to run for a few seconds after the tap being shut off. It's more annoying than a deal breaker. I have two more of these taps for other sinks in the butlers pantry and the laundry which we will be installing soon so I will find out if it's an inherent issue with the taps or just in that individual one. Otherwise, I absolutely would recommend this.4

Leaky tapAntonellaAs I noticed as with another review, my tap was leaking soon after the time it was installed. The installer warned me at the time I had my new kitchen installed that it does not pay to use cheap tapware like taps. However I naively thought that a company like would still provide products that were quality regardless of the price, well I was wrong. Within a couple of weeks this tap started to drip from the mixer, it was a slow drip but still annoying. Being a busy person, I put up with the drip by maneuvering the mixer between hot and cold and reducing the pressure of the water going into the tap, which did help at times; however, the drip is now increasing and I regret not taking the kitchen installer’s initial advice.1

Customisation: - with a very small but strong jewellers screwdriver you can remove the pressure limiters inserted into the 15mm ends where you attach to the water pipe. There is a circlip which retains the pressure reducers - once flipped out you can remove the pressure reducing valves and rely on your own regulation of flow and water pressure. This is useful if your mains water pressure is not high. On the fitting, some sinks like the Franke have a raised outside edge to strengthen the sink - the space between that edge and the nearest bowl can be smaller than the white plastic triangular plate that stabilises the tap mount. I made my own metal mounting plate to do the job, but it would be useful if the Tap designers gave you a smaller mounting strengthening plate as well. The weight:- tied it to the plastic pipe with string so it hung lower - worked much better in tight spaces4

One thing I didn’t anticipate that might help others is that the flow restrictor prevented my on-demand continuous hot water system from kicking in due to the low flow, so it was a frustrating week of cold water before I could find an answer to this issue online – by unscrewing the aerator from the opening, the restrictor (a small disc with tiny holes) can be flicked out with the tip of a knife before replacing the aerator on the tap.5
