Out of the 5 I only have 2 left not damaged. I wouldn’t say I’m heavy handed with these and wouldn’t buy again. I bought these to be more environmentally friendly but I’m now left with plastic lids I don’t need and glass in recycling. 1

It's very useful to buy lids separately. I do have two slight gripes about them: 1) they don't stack and 2) there are no ovenproof lids.
