Great ScaleNICKThis scale looks great, is the perfect size, has easy to read numbers and is very accurate. The only drawback is that it turns off after 20 seconds of inactivity, which I think it just a bit too fast. Auto shutoff after 45 seconds or a minute would be better.4
Bad Design in a few waysCHRISTINE A.I was attracted to the sleek design, but alas, it looks good but works terribly. Here are all the ways this scale is a continuous nuisance. The battery door doesn't stay closed. The display shuts off within seconds, often in the middle of weighing something. The buttons have a long lag time to activate, so I'm often left wondering if the unit is working at all. Plus, the readout changes by a few grams if you take something off and put it back on. So if you're looking for accuracy, look elsewhere.2
Nice kitchen scaleGraceBought this scale to replace my old scale. Have not had a chance to use it for baking but I did test its accuracy with known weights. Works great. Nice size and easy to wipe down. Uses 4 AAA batteries which are not included.5

Tempering or various additives gives you extra-strong and impact-resistant glass that in some cases can be taken straight from freezer to oven without cracking. A big benefit is how glass can be recycled over and over without the quality deteriorating. Also, a lot less energy is needed to melt recycled glass compared to new raw materials. Our goal is to eventually use only recycled glass in our range.
