Good Product - Poor Colour MatchingJennifer W.I love the Alex drawers, this is my second set. this time I bought the grey/green colour. However after getting home and building the drawers, the front of the drawers and the main cabinet are different shades, so they actually don't match and look as though they're badly sun-bleached. I wouldn't buy this again.2
Not up to usual qualityMartin K.I usually expect products to have a better quality than the price point should indicate but this is definitely not the case with Alex. The drawers don't open smoothly. Forget quality Blum drawer rails with soft close. These ones are stiff. The drawer faces don't have up/down adjustment so you are at the mercy of manufacturing variation as to whether the gaps are even or the faces line up nicely. On top of that, I found a lot of the pieces to be slightly damaged. Minor tearing, scratches, holes for dowels too big etc. I don't expect to see these kind of imperfections with . That was truly disappointing. I am considering returning this and spending more for an Idasen underframe plus Galant drawer unit (which my wife has and is actually very high quality but much pricier).3
